As you well know, our youngest friends have the biggest hearts!
Take for example, Tyler & Gianna who earned money baby-sitting for guinea pigs and made a donation to Hinsdale Humane Society to help us care for our homeless animals. Or eleven-year-old Kate wanted to help animals in need so she donated the proceeds she earned from a lemonade stand to HHS.
We are always amazed by their kindness and generosity. That’s why we honor them with our Big Hearts for Little Paws Club. So many children want to help our animals, and a great way they can do that is by gathering funds and/or supplies for our shelter residents. Some children raise money through lemonade stands and some decide to request pet supplies in lieu of birthday gifts. Whatever way they find to spread the love to our animals, we are so grateful to them.
To celebrate the Grand Opening of HHS’s Pet Rescue & Resource Center, we want to honor our youngest donors. If your child gathers funds for HHS between now and November, you can match her gift. If you or your company matches their donation, they will become a member of our Humane edUcation Giving Society (HUGS) and will be recognized at our Grand Opening on November 4th!
Instead of helping one dog or cat, you’re helping two!

Thank you for your support of our mission to advocate and educate on behalf of the animals in our care. Our ability to do this is made possible by the kindness and compassion of people like you. We are deeply grateful for our youngest donors and for your support.
