Meet Garden! Garden has been waiting patiently for her forever home but hardly ever gets anyone asking to meet her :( The staff at the shelter love her so much!

She is a silly, laid-back lady searching for a home where she can lounge around in comfort, preferring tranquil moments over high-energy activities, as she is a certified couch potato. She does love a good tennis ball chase though! She also seems to have a heart that gravitates towards men. While Garden adores male company, she has great relationships with many women at the shelter and would just need someone who can provide her positive reinforcement training to help build a stronger bond with a woman in the home. She has been known to have “selective hearing” towards some women if she doesn’t really want to do something (she sometimes pretends like she didn’t hear them).

Our trainer knows her well and is happy to work with her after adoption. She may bark when she sees other dogs but she has previously lived with another dog and gets along with other medium/larger dogs. Garden would be a good match for experienced dog owners seeking a chill best friend.
