Sponsor a Homeless Animal

Even if you are not in a position to adopt from HHS, you can still make a difference to the homeless animals in our care! For a minimum donation of $50, you can sponsor a dog or cat for yourself or as a gift in honor or memory of a friend or loved one.

It's easy to do, simply:
  • Choose a dog, cat, kitten, or puppy from our adoptable animals.
  • Provide us with your name and the gift recipient's name and address.
  • Select the amount you want to donate. The minimum amount is $50.00.
Sponsorships can be obtained at the shelter using Mastercard or Visa, by calling 630-323-5630, Ext. 0, or purchased online using Paypal. You or your gift recipient will receive a Sponsorship Certificate with a picture and brief description of the sponsored animal. The Certificate can be mailed or it may be picked up at the shelter during regular business hours.

Below is a sampling of how your gift will help our homeless animals:

$125 will pay for vaccinations & tests for twenty homeless dogs or cats.
$100 is seven days care for a homeless dog.
$75 pays for medicine for five sick dogs or cats.
$50 will vaccinate eight homeless dogs.
$40 supplies one week of cat litter.
$40 buys five bags of cat or dog food.
$40 pays for two cases of aluminum litter pans.
